Acting Technique: Senior Kids

Welcome to Senior Kids Acting at Acting Performance Studio—an engaging and enriching experience designed for kids aged 7-12 who are eager to explore the exciting world of screen acting. In a fun, dynamic, and supportive environment, students will unlock their potential, make new friends, and gain confidence in front of the camera.

Crafting Confident Performers:

Our Senior Kids classes help young actors build confidence and express themselves authentically. Through purposeful activities like improvisation games, character exploration, and creative exercises, children develop their acting craft while having a blast with their peers.

Exploring Screen Acting Techniques:

In Term 1, students will bring scenes from TV and film to life as they develop their screen acting skills. Through hands-on practice with scripts, they’ll learn how to connect with a reader, perform engaging self-tapes, and master essential techniques like framing, shot types, and maintaining strong eye lines. This dynamic approach helps students refine their craft and prepares them for the excitement of on-screen performance.

Green Screen Adventures:

In Term 1, students will explore the exciting possibilities of Green Screen. They’ll bring their creativity to life in unique, fantastical locations, adding a new dimension to their acting and enhancing their on-screen performances.
